Picture Reduce Studio serves a precise purpose: reduce picture size; resize photos (all popular formats are supported, including JPEG, BMP, PNG, and GIF). You can use the application to resize a single image or you can use it to batch resize several images at the same time.

Support for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 is provided. You will have no problems getting Picture Reduce Studio up and running on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions. It’s a standard installation process that will go along smoothly and rapidly.

The application's interface is divided into several panels:
Image List – presents the images you load into the application.
Preview – select any of the images you load and it will be shown in the Preview panel.
Options – pick the resize type and enter the parameters you want. The Preview panel will take them into consideration and will change the image preview accordingly.
Output options – pick the output format, choose the output location.

Using Picture Reduce Studio is a very simple matter. First up, you must load some images into the application; you can do so by clicking the Add Files or the Add Folder buttons from the upper left hand corner of the interface. Then you must pick the resize type, specify how you want the image to be processed, and where you want the output to be saved. Click on the Start button from the bottom right hand corner and Picture Reduce Studio will process the images you load and apply the changes you specify.

Please note that the trial version will put a watermark on the output.

With Picture Reduce Studio you can easily and quickly resize any images you want.

Pros

Installing Picture Reduce Studio is a simple matter. You will spend little time on figuring out the interface. Support for multiple image formats is provided: JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG, PCX, TIF. Use the application to batch resize photos. There are several resize types to choose from.

Cons

The trial puts a watermark on the output.
